First Musings

First Musings

Today I turned on Comcast to watch some news, and heard the discussion of this wonderful idea here at "PNN".

I have a blog that I have not written on for a while. There I mostly discuss my hobbie of collecting scarves. Mostly Hermes scarves, but others too.

I have always liked the idea of blogging on "things that matter to me." To find out that someone has started a local group to connect with others here in our area delighted me. So here I am.

I suppose I will use this first post to tell a little about myself. I live here in Santa Rosa. I work as a counselor for the County.

My job has a pretty high stress level so I am always seeking out ways to connect with the world around me to maintain a balance of serenity. That said my other passion is photography. An ideal day of self care for me is to grab my camera, and document the beauty of the world around us, as I see it through the lens of my camera.

We pass so much in our daily lives that we often do not look closely to notice the simple beauty that exists around us.

I love the idea of this sight as described by the speaker on Comcast. So here I am to experience this new adventure.
